Question Ascalon/Knights Stacking Absorption

I have a question about 'reduced damage' on armor and Absorption runes.

First question is - As far as I know, a piece of Knights or Ascalon armor gives -2 damage reduce? If I use 5 pieces of Knights or 5 Pieces of Ascalon do I get -10?

How about one piece of knights and one piece of ascalon ? -2 or -4?

Minor absorption rune -1, Major -2, Superior -3 ?

If only one armor piece works for -2 reduced, then it would be ideal to use one piece of knights or ascalon and a supreme absorption rune anywhere, yes?

Knights or Ascalon + Absorption rune can 'stack' ?

I have been searching for the answer.... trying to figure out my best armor set up. Thanks

Also -

Say I use one piece of Knights with a superior absorption anywhere.

Do I get a total of: -2 (knights), -5 (knights + rune), or (-3 rune)

which has priority (if they don't stack) rune or armor piece?

Remember that attacks that hit you, hit in a specific location (Chest, Legs, Arms, Feet and head). So if something hits you in the chest you will gain benefit from anything that is covering your chest.

No, apparently for absorption it doesn't matter where you are hit. Can anyone help me with my original question?

I would think they stack, if only because the rules are set for stacking on runes. i.e.: Two runes don't stack, but item properties do. So if your wand has +1 energy, and your focus item +4... you get +5 energy. Since your absorption is coming from two different locations (Rune + Item Property), they shouldn't overlap, and I'd think they would stack.

Just stay away from two of the same type of rune.
